Android Wear - access general settings for mobile devices

Question

I use SharedPreferences in a mobile application to save data (for example, to create a list of recycler views from this data)

Now I have added a wear module and I am trying to get the same list on my wearing device. Can he access the general settings of my mobile device from my wear device?

If your answer is no, what is the best alternative?

I think you cannot access the Mobile Shared Preference, but you can send data using a data card or api message, and you can use the gson library to send custom objects as a string

You must consider the wearable module as a standalone application.

The downloadable application is not able to read the SharedPreferences of your mobile application.

If you want to exchange data between mobile and wearable applications, you need to synchronize data using the Data Layer Api .
