Currently, I can delete selected user files. The question is how to find out if the size of this file supports cropping. For example, external USB drives have only a local garbage folder, and file deletion on a remote Mac is not allowed (even from Finder), it can only be deleted. I did not find a suitable constant among NSURLVolume[...] for use with [NSURL getResourceValue:forKey:error] .
