Unable to see Robomongo collections in Windows 10

I carefully searched the Internet but found nothing.

I installed MongoDB (3.2.0) and Robomongo (0.8.5) on Windows 10. After installation, I can successfully start MongoDB. After that, I restored the database using DBRestore.exe, which worked successfully.

The problem is that I cannot see collections in Robomongo. It shows Collection (0).

EDIT: I did this process a couple of times in Windows 7 and successfully completed it. I am doing this for the first time in Windows 10.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Robomongo 0.8.x is not compatible with MongoDB 3.x. Try MongoChef.

UPDATE 2015-12-17 : I just wanted to add a link to this Indiegogo campaign, launched by Robomongo creator Dmitry Shchetnikovich, which started a couple of days ago, and will work until February 8, 2016.

https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/save-robomongo

He also pretty much sums up the current state of Robomongo.

UPDATE 2016-01-27 . Robomongo 0.9.0 now supports the WiredTiger storage engine. See http://blog.robomongo.org/robomongo-rc2-for-windows-mac-os-x-and-linux/

Robomongo does not support databases that use WiredTiger as a storage engine. You need to configure the mongo instance to run on MMAPv1 instead if you want to use Robomongo. The problem can be tracked here , although there are not many in the last six months.

Robomongo 0.8 does not support mongodb 3 due to the presence of Weird tiger as the default engine. So, you need to use the new version of Robomongo 0.9 or higher to use the mongodb 3 versions. IT is now available freely with support for the wired tiger dated January 27, 2016, which has the latest version 1.0 RC1 .

You can download their respective platform versions from the link: - Robomongo for mongodb 3+

Using the correct version of RoboMongo resolved a similar issue. robomongo-0.9.0-rc8 (Updated June 15, 2016)
